A conversation, a celebration, a cautionary tale: over time, I seek to make visible the imaginary lines that connect certain people to certain aspects of life: Our past, our imagination, our addiction, fear, hope, war, sex, art, music, disability—there are connections that lead from us to the things that shape our lives. But what fascinates is that this connection does not always begin with us, sometimes it leads to us, influences us, or is forced on us.
